Coverage and out-of-pocket costs vary depending on your plan, benefits, and the therapist you choose. We’ll help you understand the billing process and what to expect before your first session.

Some clients may be eligible for a limited number of therapy sessions through an Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
EAP benefits vary by employer and program. If you plan to use EAP sessions, please provide your authorization information before scheduling so we can confirm the appropriate process.

PRIVATE PAY
Private pay is available for clients who are not using insurance or EAP benefits.
Before beginning therapy, you’ll receive clear information about session fees, payment expectations, and applicable practice policies so there are no surprises.
What to know before our first session.
BILLING & PAYMENTSPayments for each session are processed securely through the platform used for your care, such as Headway or Alma. Depending on the platform, payment may be made by credit card, debit card, or ACH transfer.
If you are using insurance, benefits are verified before beginning services whenever possible. Insurance quotes are estimates and do not guarantee coverage or payment. You are responsible for any deductible, copay, coinsurance, denied claim, or other balance not covered by your plan.
Any outstanding balance must be resolved before future appointments can be scheduled. Private-pay clients may request a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges as required by federal law.
CANCELLATION POLICYWe ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Late cancellations and missed appointments may be subject to a $150 fee, which is not billable to insurance.
Consistent attendance is an important part of therapy. After two consecutive cancellations, a recurring appointment time may be released from the schedule. If you need to change your regular appointment time or frequency, please reach out so we can discuss available options.
